The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be announced next month. While rumors suggest major design changes and new features, what are you most expecting to see in the Apple Watch Series 7?
It’s been three years since we had the last Apple Watch redesign, which brought a bigger screen. In September 2020, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that a new Apple Watch design could be ready as early as Series 7.
A few months later, YouTuber Jon Prosser popped up renders that depict what he thinks is the new look for the Apple Watch this fall with flat sides and a new green color.
When it comes to health sensor sensors, it has already been said that the Apple Watch Series 7 may include groundbreaking blood sugar detection, but Bloomberg says that feature is probably years away at this point. . Even so, that seems like the next big thing for the Apple Watch.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the blood oxygen sensor, although this is a nice feature on the Apple Watch Series 6, it is not as reliable as the ECG app, which required FDA approval. Perhaps in 2021, Apple could offer a better blood oxygen measurement with the need for government approval.
While the iPhone 13 gets a lot more attention than the Apple Watch Series 7, hopefully this year’s Watch has a better battery because my Apple Watch Series 6 can’t hold more than one charging day. With Apple changing almost all of its ports from USB-A to USB-C, maybe it’s time for the company to introduce a USB-C cable to its own charging solution in the box so that you can charge it with the power brick of the iPhone, MacBook, or even iPad Pro.
Still talking about battery and charging, I think Apple should adopt the Qi standard for Apple Watch Series 7. This would allow it to be charged with any Qi pad available on the market today.
