Which routes Eurowings, Lufthansa and Swiss will operate again in June

The airlines of the Lufthansa Group start operations again in June. With over 106 German and European destinations and over 20 intercontinental destinations, they will greatly expand their flight offerings until the end of June. They will then again offer around 1,800 weekly connections to more than 130 destinations worldwide. The airlines’ flight schedules are closely coordinated and thus enable reliable connectivity to European and intercontinental destinations via the hubs, the company said.

The offer of the individual airlines:

Lufthansa

The resumption in Germany and Europe in the first half of June is from Frankfurt: Hanover, Mallorca, Sofia, Prague, Billund, Nice, Manchester, Budapest, Dublin, Riga, Krakow, Bucharest and Kiev. From Munich it is Münster / Osnabrück, Sylt, Rostock, Vienna, Zurich, Mallorca and Brussels.

Lufthansa’s long-haul re-arrivals from Frankfurt in detail (subject to travel restrictions): Toronto, Mexico City, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Tel Aviv, Riyadh, Bahrain, Johannesburg, Dubai and Mumbai. The destinations New York (Newark), Chicago, São Paulo, Tokyo and Bangkok will continue to be offered.

Lufthansa long-haul re-arrivals from Munich: Chicago, Los Angeles, Tel Aviv.

Austrian Airlines

The Austrian subsidiary has decided to extend the suspension of regular flight operations by another week until June 7th. A restart in June is being examined.

Swiss

The Swiss airline plans to fly to various destinations in the Mediterranean again, and other important European centers such as Paris, Brussels and Moscow are also included in the program.

In addition to the three weekly connections to New York (Newark), Swiss will again offer additional intercontinental direct connections for long-haul flights in June: New York (JFK), Chicago, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Johannesburg.

Eurowings

The low-cost airline had already announced last week that it would expand the basic program at the airports in Düsseldorf, Cologne / Bonn, Hamburg and Stuttgart and, starting in May, gradually add 15 further destinations within Europe. With Spain, Greece, Portugal and Croatia, there is a focus on destinations in the Mediterranean. Mallorca is being offered for the first time by several German Eurowings locations.

Brussels Airlines

The Belgian subsidiary plans to resume flight operations with a reduced offer from June 15.

Customers must consider the current entry and quarantine regulations of the respective destinations when planning their trip. During the entire trip, there may be restrictions due to stricter hygiene and safety regulations, for example, longer waiting times at the airport security checks. The offer on board remains limited until further notice. Passengers will also continue to be asked to wear a nose and throat cover on board.
