Even the cheapest cigarettes without a filter have risen in price to 45 hryvnias.

Cigarettes last year went up by 13-15%, and some types are sold for almost 70 hryvnia per pack. This is evidenced data State Statistics Service.

The average cost of filter cigarettes of domestic brands increased by 15% from UAH 44.40 per pack to UAH 51.07.

Tobacco products with a medium-class filter cost UAH 51.55 at the beginning of last year, and at the end of the year UAH 59.03 – 14% more expensive.

Cigarettes with a premium filter went up by an average of 13%: from UAH 59.19 per pack to UAH 66.96.

Buying cigarettes without a filter is also now more expensive: in January last year, a pack cost UAH 39.35, and in the new year the price was UAH 45.38, which is 15% more.

As reported in Ukraine advertising of tobacco products, electronic cigarettes and liquids for them is prohibited.

Recall in Ukraine they want to ban the sale of alcohol and tobacco in supermarkets. The law was proposed by People’s Deputy from the “Servants of the People” Georgy Mazurashu.
