Take advantage of the sales to offer yourself one of the best smartphones of the moment, but if you are still hesitating between the iPhone 13 Pro, the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, here are some comparison elements to help you in your choice.
The three smartphones compared in this article are not particularly compact models. Indeed, count on a weight greater than 200 grams with a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which even rises to 229 grams in your pocket. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra et Xiaomi 12 Pro are about the same height but the first is wider than the second. This is the iPhone 13 Pro which is the most compact of the three mobiles and we can particularly appreciate its thinness of 7.65 mm against 8.9 mm of the Samsung. It is the Xiaomi 12 Pro which takes the advantage, being able to charge quickly at 120 watts against 45 watts for the Samsung and 25 watts for the iPhone. All offer wireless and reverse charging, but here too the Xiaomi 12 Pro is faster than the other two to recharge.
Very high quality screens and wide connectivity
Since it is the largest in our comparison of the day, it is normal to find the largest screen on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with a6.8-inch diagonal in curved mode with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate and an HDR10+ compatibility. The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s screen stretches out 6.73 inches on an AMOLED panel also in 1440×3200 pixels at 120 Hz and HDR10+ compatible but also Dolby Vision. The iPhone 13 Pro’s screen is 6.1 inches on a OLED panel at 120 Hz with a definition of 1284×2778 pixels and also supporting the format Dolby Vision. The three smartphones are 5G, Wi-Fi 6 compatible with even Wi-Fi 6 E on Xiaomi and Samsung. The Galaxy S22 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro benefit from UWB compatibility for broadband frequencies. They are IP68 certified therefore completely waterproof and dustproof. The Xiaomi 12 Pro offers an infrared transmitter to make it a universal remote control. With the Samsung, it has a fingerprint reader under the screen which is not the case with the iPhone 13 Pro.
Excellent performance whatever the chosen solution
If you are looking for the most powerful mobile, it is the iPhone 13 Pro which dominates the debates with its chipset Apple A15 Bionic ahead of the Xiaomi 12 Pro with its processeur Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 then the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with its Soc Exynos 2200. All of them offer excellent performance and an extremely smooth experience of their system and applications. The Apple mobile has only 6 GB of RAM while the others can receive up to 12 GB. None accepts a memory card for data storage. Finally, for the photo configuration, it’s the battle of the titans since the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra embarks 108+12+10+10 megapixels with a 3x optical zoom and another 10x against three 50 megapixel sensors on the back of the Xiaomi 12 Pro and three 12 megapixel lenses, two of which are stabilized and allow a 3x optical zoom on the iPhone 13 Pro. There’s also a 12-megapixel sensor on the front. It is a 32 megapixel lens that is offered on the Xiaomi 12 Pro while it is a 40 megapixel sensor on the Samsung mobile.
