Specifically, according to the decisions of the OASA Workers’ Union and the ILPAP Workers’ Union, city buses and trolleybuses will stop work from the start of the shift until 09:00 and from 21:00 until the end. That is, buses and trolleys, on Wednesday February 28, will run from 9 am to 9 pm.
The restoration of traffic is expected from 10:00 am. or later (vehicles leave the stations at 8:30 a.m.), while the last routes are expected to depart from the departure points around 8:00 p.m.
At the same time, a 24-hour strike is expected to be carried out by railway workers, including the Athens Suburban Railway, according to the decision of the Panhellenic Railway Federation as well as workers’ unions (Panhellenic Union of Traction Personnel, OSE Employees’ Union, TRAINOSE Employees’ Union).
The taxi drivers have also announced their participation in the strike, as according to the decision of S.ATA (Attica Taxi Drivers Union) they will go on strike for 48 hours, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 27 and 28, respectively, while a decision for Air traffic controllers also went on a 24-hour strike.
It is noted, however, that so far there are no decisions on how the means of fixed track will move (Metro, ISAP, Tram).

It is noted that OLME has also issued an announcement. The teachers participate in the 24-hour strike and the gathering that will take place in Athens, at 11:00 a.m. in Klathmonos Square.
The decision to participate in the strike on February 28, 2024 was also taken by the Federation of Banking Organizations of Greece (ΟΟΕ). “On February 28 we strike for our lives!”, they say in their slogan.
