Apple is preparing the launch of a new range of Macs equipped with the M4 chip according to Mark Gurman, a well-known journalist at Bloomberg. Several models will renew the ranges of the Cupertino firm to the delight of its aficionados.

This update affects several devices, including MacBook Pros, a redesigned Mac mini, and a new 24-inch iMac. The 14-inch MacBook Pros will be available with the standard M4 chip, while the higher-end 14- and 16-inch models will offer versions with the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. As for the Mac mini, it will be offered with the M4 and M4 Pro options.

Apple’s M4 chip will equip several Macs
The highly anticipated 24-inch iMac will also be equipped with the M4 chip. For the more powerful M4 Ultra chips, you will have to wait for the models Mac Studio et Mac Prowhich are expected to launch next year.
In addition to these Mac updates, Apple is also expected to announcer the iPad mini 7which will feature the new A18 chip, an improvement over the A15 chip in the current iPad mini.
With all these outings, as you can imagine, some Macs and iPads will be withdrawn from sale on the Apple website. A complete list, to be taken with a grain of salt, has been revealed.
For 2025, Gurman also mentions the release new MacBook Air with M4 chip in the spring, as well as the arrival of the iPhone SE 4 whose production would begin and new iPad Air. These devices will not bring big aesthetic changes, but internal improvements are expected, especially in terms of connectivity.
These announcements could be made by press releasewhich suggests that while these updates are important, they are mostly internal improvements and will not mark a radical change in Apple’s lineup.
