Which legend is in dire need of a massive overhaul in Apex Legends in 2021?

Players will remember a time when Mirage was the one they loved the most Apex Legends in terms of personality, however, it can never be considered a viable option for covert or even casual lobbying.

After the first few seasons, Mirage had to make a major upgrade, and he accepted it because his entire kit had been reworked and improved over the last few months.

While Mirage’s Ultimate still has a lot to want, his passive ability to revive masked players has sometimes made him a worthy legend.

Seeing how Mirage has gotten a major facelift, he won’t be the next Apex Legend to get a buff or a complete overhaul. Apex Legends continues to improve with balancing breakthroughs and bug issues, and some Legends still need the love of the developers.

One of the most talked about legends on the Apex Legends forum and subreddit is “Crypto”. In theory, Crypto should really be one of the best legends in the game, but it is heavily outperformed by the others and has very limited use cases.

A legend that desperately needs a massive overhaul in Apex Legends in 2021

Apex Legends Season 7 saw the introduction of a new map: Olympus. The map encourages long-range combat with a mix of open spaces giving legends like Crypto a better chance.

However, the Crypto kit still leaves a lot to be desired, as just standing back while team-mates lead the offensive often leaves the team with multiple failures. Using snipers, especially against squads with Lifeline in Apex Legends, is almost pointless.

Lifeline can easily bring teammates back to life without them needing to take cover. The Crypto Kit basically encourages players to play using snipers Apex Legends, but given how popular and dominant Lifeline is in games, this is not a good choice.

When will Crypto go live?

Apex Legends usually has certain situations where every Legend seems to shine. For example, Caustic will turn any closed area into a death trap and determine where the fight will take place, especially during the end game phase.

Likewise, Crypto is very useful in Apex Legends when it comes to the end of the game. Crypto’s ability to see how many squads are within range of a drone makes it very useful for teams.

Being able to see and even manipulate enemy locations using drones is really useful and is a big plus for the team at Apex Legends. Meanwhile, Crypto recognition his abilities were passable, his offensive abilities were ridiculous.

It is almost certain that most of the Mobile Legends have the greatest chance of playing and winning games for their team at Apex Legends. Even so, characters like Wattson and Rampart can still be much more useful than Crypto.

What needs to change for Crypto?

In essence, Crypto needs a big buff that increases its offensive ability in Apex Legends. On the one hand, passively, Neurolink, which allows his teammates and Crypto to see what the drone is seeing at any time, needs a little improvement.

Allowing the drone to perform evasive maneuvers on its own could be something that the developers should be concerned about. While autonomous reconnaissance and reconnaissance would be heavily overpowered, allowing it to dodge enemy fire had to be fairly balanced.

In short, Crypto needs to have more ways for players to play with it in Apex Legends. Right now, the only way to use your character is to stick with snipers, which, as mentioned earlier, is not always a good choice.
