This time, it is about the top car manufacturers in terms of brand power, market recognition and, finally, popularity. In other words, these are the cars you might buy with more confidence, because you’ve heard many good things about it.
Toyota, the strongest car brand in 2021
The leader in the car market in 2021, according to Interbrand, is Toyota, which achieves the performance of surpassing Mercedes-Benz and BMW. It is important to note that this is not a premiere for Toyota, enjoyed the same distinction in 2020.
Even so, it is important to note that only Toyota and Mercedes-Benz are car manufacturers in a global ranking of brands dominated by companies in the technology spectrum.
According to Interbrand estimates, in 2021, the Toyota brand is estimated at about $ 54.1 billion, an increase of 5% compared to the level of 2020. In the general top, Toyota occupies the seventh position.
Mercedes Benz, the eighth position in the general classification, is on the second place in the car chapter. At the moment, the premium brand of the Germans has a value of 50.86 billion dollars, increasing by 3% compared to 2020. Significantly lower in the general top, BMW occupies the third position in the ranking of car brands. The makers of the top estimate that it would have a value of 41.56 billion dollars in terms of the brand, increasing by 5% compared to 2020.
The most impressive growth in the same top is illustrated by Tesla, up 184% from 2020, to $ 36.27 billion. It advanced 26 places in the general top, to 14. The rest, in terms of cars, we still have in the top 10 – Honda ($ 21.31 billion), Hyundai ($ 15.16 billion), Audi (13, USD 47 billion), Volkswagen (USD 13.42 billion), Ford (USD 12.86 billion) and Porsche (USD 11.73 billion).
