Hyundai Santa Fe 2021 present as a formidable challenger to the Japanese SUV that has dominated the Indonesian market, namely Toyota fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Which SUV comes with the most advanced features?
These three cars play in the same class, but with a fairly large price difference. Before we look at the advanced features offered by these three SUVs, first consider the price of each car for the highest type;

Front Collision Features
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe comes with a front anti-collision feature called Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA). Apparently, this feature is also available on the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport called the Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM).
Front anti-collision feature of Santa Fe 2021 and this Pajero Sport, not only give a signal or warning, but can also take over braking and intervene in the car so that the car avoids a collision.
As for the Toyota Fortuner, it turns out that this front anti-collision feature is only a warning. Toyota calls this feature the Emergency Brake Signal (EBS). But positive, this feature is present in all types of Toyota Fortuner, not only the highest type.

Not only front crashes, modern sophisticated SUVs also provide features that can make the car more protected from rear collisions. Especially when trying to get out of the parking lot.
Getting out of the parking lot without the help of parking attendants is often difficult for motorists, especially because of the presence of a blind area or blind spot. To prevent a rear-end collision when this backwards, it turns out that Hyundai and Mitsubishi have advanced features.
This feature is called Rear Cross Traffic Alert and is available on the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe and the highest type of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. With this feature, when the car exits the parking lot backwards, and finds another vehicle passing, this feature will give a warning.
But it turns out for Hyundai Santa Fe 2021 comes more sophisticated. Because it not only gives a warning, the Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA) feature in this car can also provide car intervention to brake if the car feels like it’s about to crash.
For the Toyota Fortuner, unfortunately the rear anti-collision feature like this has not been observed by Toyota.
Driving Ease Features
As an SUV, these three cars come with easy-to-driving features that make the car ready to be taken anywhere.
These three cars have been observed to have Hill Start Assist which makes it easier for the car to drive uphill.
But for the downhill road, Santa Fe 2021 and Pajero Sport has Downhill Brake Control and Hill Descent Control features, so the car doesn’t ‘skid’ or get out of control. Unfortunately, this feature is not observed to be present in the Toyota Fortuner.
Another feature that also makes driving easier is Cruise Control. With the presence of this feature, the driver can take his foot off the gas pedal, and the car can continue to run at a predetermined speed.
Cruise Control is very useful when the car is driving on the freeway. This Cruise Control feature is observed to be available in the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota fortuner, and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
A feature that is no less sophisticated, but only a sweetener, is the sunroof roof or panoramic sun roof.
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport come with a sunroof roof that can create visibility and a pleasant sensation for passengers. However, this ‘luxury’ feature is not yet present in the Toyota Fortuner.
Which is More Sophisticated?
These three cars certainly come with their respective advantages and superior features. However, judging from the features offered, it is clear that the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport have some features that the Toyota Fortuner does not have.
However, there are features no price. Of these three SUVs, the highest type of Toyota Fortuner is offered at the most affordable price and a difference of IDR 50 to IDR 60 million from the two rivals in the highest class.
