The artist, Reham Abdel Ghafour, revealed that she suffers from anxiety, as she said: “I am sick with anxiety, guilt, and self-blame. I live in this circle in a tired way, and it has become part of my personality.”
And she continued, during her hosting of the “Me and the Mask” program presented by the media, Mona Abdel-Wahhab, broadcast on Al-Hayat and CBC channels: “This problem I inherited from my mother, because she was very anxious and forced me to stay like her.”
And she added, “I am deeply concerned, and the issue has begun to decrease, and the anxiety remains within me without sharing it with those around me.”
In this regard, we present to you, in the following report, the causes of acute anxiety, its symptoms, and types, according to the “webmd” and “mayoclinic” websites.
Symptoms:
Feeling nervous, anxious or tense.
Feeling of extreme danger or panic.

Types of anxiety disorders:
1. Panic disorder:

2. Social Anxiety Disorder:
Also called social phobia, this occurs when you feel extremely anxious and self-conscious about everyday social situations.
3. Specific phobia:
You feel an intense fear of a particular object or situation, such as heights or flying.
4. Separation anxiety:
Young children are not the only ones who feel fear or anxiety when a loved one leaves, anyone can develop separation anxiety disorder.
5. Selective mutism:
This is a type of social anxiety where normally speaking young children do not speak to their families in public, such as at school.
6. Medication-induced anxiety disorder:
Use of certain medications or drugs, or withdrawal from certain medications, can cause some of the symptoms of an anxiety disorder.

Anxiety disorders can run in families.
2. Brain chemistry:
Some research suggests that anxiety disorders may be linked to faulty circuits in the brain that control fear and emotions.
3. Stressors:
Life events often associated with anxiety disorders include child abuse and neglect, the death of a loved one, or experiencing an attack or witnessing violence.
4. Medical conditions:
Certain heart, lung and thyroid conditions, diabetes, chronic pain or irritable bowel syndrome can cause symptoms similar to anxiety disorders or worsen symptoms of anxiety.
Complications:
Depression.
Substance abuse.
Difficulty sleeping (insomnia).
Digestive or bowel problems.
Headache and chronic pain.
Social isolation.
Problems coping at school or work.

Feeling excessively anxious that negatively affects your work, relationships, or other aspects of your life.

2. Stay active.
Get involved in activities that you enjoy and that make you feel good about yourself; Enjoy social interaction and relationships with caring people, which can reduce your anxiety.
3. Avoid alcohol or drug use:
Alcohol and drug use can cause or worsen anxiety, so if you’re addicted to any of these substances, quitting may cause you to feel anxious.
