Which countries have the most Miss Universe crowns?

After 71 editions of the Miss Universe contest, a total of 34 countries have been the winners of the most important crown of beauty pageants.

To date, only Panama has managed to consecrate a Central American woman as miss Universeafter Yustin Lissette Pasek Patiño replaced Oksana Gennadyevna as the winner in 2002.

According to experts, this year various Central American countries have a good chance of being the winners of the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant.

To date, the United States remains the country with the most crowns in the history of this competition, with a total of nine winners.

The first American woman to be Miss Universe was Miriam Jacqueline Stevenson, when she was proclaimed winner of the pageant in 1954.
