The commune has established a Steering Committee for building advanced rural areas and assigned specific tasks, building a roadmap for implementing the criteria in the set of criteria for advanced rural areas communes. After implementing the construction of advanced rural areas, Xuan Ninh commune has achieved important achievements and results.
The appraisal team of advanced and model rural areas of Nam Dinh province visited the model garden of a family in Xuan Ninh commune, Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province.
According to Mr. Thuong, by the end of 2022, the total cost of implementing NTM construction will be over 133 billion VND. Of which the Central budget is over 5.7 billion VND; Provincial budget is nearly 9.7 billion VND; The remaining is from district and commune budgets, capital mobilized from businesses, capital mobilized from the community.
During the process of building NTM, people in the commune donated 11.14 hectares of agricultural land and thousands of work days to build roads according to advanced and model NTM criteria.
From the mobilized funds, the commune has focused on investing in infrastructure, implementing socio-economic development projects and focusing on implementing difficult criteria.
“It is through appropriate steps and methods that the new rural appearance and the quality of life of local people have been improved,” Mr. Pham Manh Thuong confided.
Up to now, 100% of traffic routes in the commune have been asphalted and concreted, have a lighting system at night, are planted with trees, are maintained annually and have necessary items. ensuring the criteria of bright – green – clean – beautiful.
The sedge mat production village (Xuan Ninh commune, Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province) continues to be preserved and increasingly developed.
Socio-economic infrastructure is focused on repairing, renovating, upgrading and building new buildings according to the new rural planning. The face of the countryside is increasingly spacious, clean, beautiful and civilized.
Living, traveling, production, learning and living conditions of rural people are more convenient and effective. People’s needs for electricity and water for living and production are better met.
The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. The multidimensional poverty rate in 2022 is only 0.66%. The fields of culture, education, and health developed comprehensively and achieved outstanding results. Political security, social order and safety have been consolidated and strengthened, and rural security has been maintained.
In addition, the information and communication system develops rapidly and synchronously, creating favorable conditions for rural people to access new knowledge to improve understanding and application in study, work, and production. .
In agricultural production, Xuan Ninh commune gradually shifted to commodity production on a small and medium scale, improving efficiency. Focus on shifting the structure of crops and livestock appropriately, promoting the application of scientific and technical advances, bringing mechanization into production, increasing the proportion of industry and services, and reducing the proportion of agriculture.
