In the Presidential Elections to be held on 14 May and the 28th Term Parliamentary Elections, the signing process for those who want to be nominated by the voters for the presidential candidacy continues at the district election boards.

The presidential candidacy applications of Hilmi Özden, Halil Murat Ünver, Yakup Türkal, Ahmet Özal, Sinan Ogan, Muharrem İnce, Doğu Perinçek, Fatih Erbakan, İrfan Uzun, Davut Turan and Erkan Trükten were accepted by the YSK. The signature collection process has started for the presidential candidates to be nominated by the voters. 11 candidates must collect 100,000 signatures by March 27.

The signing process, which started on March 22, continued today. Accordingly, as of 12:00, the final table is as follows:

Homeland Party Chairman Muharrem İnce 80 thousand 834, Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan 69 thousand 98, Ata Alliance candidate Sinan Ogan 42 thousand 546, Vatan Party Chairman Doğu Perinçek 17 thousand 4, Yakup Türkal 2109, Erkan Trükten 1171, Ahmet Özal It collected 852 signatures, İrfan Uzun 489, Murat Ünver 304, Hilmi Özden 253 and Davut Turan 94 signatures.

Again, the leader of the Welfare Party, Erbakan, announced that they joined the People’s Alliance yesterday and withdrew from the presidential candidacy.
