This Tuesday, after the publication in the BOPA (Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias), the new system for measuring the incidence of cases per inhabitants in the councils of Asturias. And, although there are still hours, there are already several areas of the territory that are doomed to the perimeter closure according to the restrictions imposed by the Government of Adrián Barbón. Specifically, there are eleven councils, which bring together more than 75 percent of the Asturian population, which have many ballots to close perimeter since this Tuesday.
It should be remembered that the Executive of the Principality has chosen to establish closures by councils and specific and automatic restrictive measures, once certain thresholds are exceeded in the respective territory. The forks will be different depending on the population.
And, as established, the most populated councils in Asturias would close automatically and soon. For councils with more than 30,000 inhabitants, the scale for closure is to count, for more than three days either with a 14-day incidence of 325 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, or with a 14-day incidence, for those over 65 years of age, of 195 cases per 100,000 inhabitants . Thus, territories like Oviedo, Gijón, Avilés, Langreo, Mieres and Siero, as pointed out in Trade, are among the candidates for closure. They are all the councils with more than 30,000 inhabitants.
Between zones from 10,000 to 30,000 inhabitants (group 2), there are five councils -of the 13 in total that make up this group- that also have ballots to close: Llanes, Cangas del Narcea, Gozón, Corvera and Castrillón. Here the scale is to meet the same thresholds as for large councils, but simultaneously for the general population and for those over 65 years of age.
With these data on the table and with the most recent figures in hand, more than 770,000 Asturians would experience a perimeter closure of their councils during the next 14 days.
Measures imposed by the Principality
The measures automatically imposed by the Government of the Principality of Asturias When the calculated thresholds are exceeded, they will be the following:
1.- Interior closure of the hotel business.
2.- Similar to this and to prevent the people of a council from going to the hospitality of the neighboring council, perimeter closure of the council.
3.- Closing of parks and shopping centers (except essential food stores).
4.- Reduction of capacity to 20% in shops of more than 300 square meters located outside large areas.
5.- The meetings will be limited to four people.
6.- The meetings that take place in homes will be strictly for the group of cohabitants.
7.- Activity inside sports centers and gyms will be suspended.
8.- Partial confinement of the population is recommended.
9.- There will be a temporary suspension of business meetings, professionals, seminars, communities of owners, events and similar meetings.
