Which district in Shanghai is recommended for young people?
Which navigation, food and transport apps can you use and can the languages in these apps be changed?
Do you also have any places and/or highlights, such as clubs, bars or good restaurants, that you can recommend?
Can you recommend SIM cards? Can you name any SIM card stores or similar places?
And what are the most famous streets in Shanghai or sights that I can’t miss?
Have you had any experience with VPN services like NordVPN or TunnelBear? Did they work well there?
What about the hotels? I heard that hotel owners need a license to accept foreigners. I use Trip.com – have you had any experiences with rejections or anything similar?
I’m looking for information all around and have already saved a few places. Since I’m traveling alone, I want to make sure I don’t forget or miss anything. Also, I’m a little afraid of forgetting important things like documents or requirements that I have to fulfill from the Chinese government.
I’m traveling there for 14 days in November.
