Whether there is a law to stabilize temporary employees; High Court to Government | High Court | PSC

Kochi: The High Court has asked the government whether there is a rule for stabilizing temporary employees in public sector undertakings. It has been suggested that the matter should be informed within ten days. The court was hearing a petition filed by Youth Congress activists Faisal Kulappadam and Vishnu on behalf of the candidates seeking clarification on the appointment. A division bench headed by the Chief Justice did not proceed with the petition. Only after receiving the explanation from the government will we proceed with the next steps, including accepting the petition on file.

The plaintiffs allege that the stabilization of the detainees is illegal and unconstitutional. The petitioners want the vacancies in such public sector undertakings to be reported to the PSC and directed to fill the vacancies.
