DAZN, ProSieben MAXX and ran are showing the 2023/24 NBA season
For the first time in years, games can be seen on free TV in Germany – on ProSieben and ProSieben MAXX. The channels show over 50 games from the regular season as well as other matches in the playoffs and finals live and exclusively on German free TV. At ran, the games regularly run in prime time, i.e. at kick-off times at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday evenings and at the same time live on ran.de, in the ran app and on Joyn.
The NBA broadcast is therefore in direct competition with the NFL, which, as is well known, can be seen on RTL this year and no longer on the Unterföhringer broadcasting group. Since the ratings there have already been underwhelming, the competition from Cologne won’t be happy to hear that sports fans now have another free TV offer to choose from every Sunday evening.
DAZN has the most NBA games on offer. The streaming service shows over 200 games live. If you want to watch all games live, you have to buy the NBA League Pass, the counterpart to the Game Pass in the NFL. It costs 119.99 euros for the entire season and also includes the NBA Network channel, which is also included in the DAZN subscription.
