Fort Worth businesses and other organizations are opening up to provide water, WiFi, firewood, and more for anyone in need. See below for a list of resources. Revista Fort Worth It will also continue to update this list as more information becomes available.
Water
Natural grocery store – which has locations on West Seventh Street (2501 W. Seventh St., Ste. 115) and North Fort Worth (5230 North Tarrant Parkway) – offers free filtered water through February 23. According to the grocer, the dispensers disinfect the water using ultraviolet light, so it is not necessary to boil before consuming. Customers will need to bring their own jugs and bottles, and select stores will also have receptacles available for purchase. The first five gallons are free, and additional gallons are sold for 25 cents each.
the City of Fort Worth is also distributing bottled water at the locations listed below, with more to be added soon. Each household is limited to one case. Distribution to all sites will begin Wednesday from 5-7 pm or until supplies are exhausted. Starting Thursday, distribution will begin at 8:00 am and will continue while supplies last.

Food
the Tarrant Area Food Bank will resume food distribution starting Thursday, delivering emergency food boxes at its Distribution Center (2600 Cullen St.) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Friday, the Weekly Mega Mobile Market will resume at Herman Clark Stadium (5201 CA Roberson Blvd.) from 10 am to 1 pm Other distribution events will be held on Saturdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Mondays from 10 am to 1 pm Both events will be held at Herman Clark Stadium; Those who wish to volunteer can register at tafb.galaxydigital.com.
Firewood
Logistics and moving company Gozova is giving free firewood to those without electricity. Request firewood by filling this form. The company is also receiving donations of firewood.
Places to warm up, charge devices and more
Check each establishment’s social media pages for updates on hours.
The Rail Club Live (3101 Joyce Drive) serves as a warming center with food, bottled water, and free WiFi. It’s open 24/7, and yes, people can sleep there too.
HopFusion Ale works (200 E. Broadway Ave.) has opened as a warming station and is allowing visitors to use the WiFi and charge their devices. The brewery also collected 2,000 gallons of water before the winter storm and has been distributing it hot or cold for free (bring your own container).
Neighbor’s house grocery store (501 W. Sixth St.) in downtown Fort Worth has stocked up on groceries that can be harder to find in big box stores. The store also has WiFi and plugs for devices that need to be charged.
Tulips, the new music venue at 112 St. Louis Ave., is also open to anyone who needs to warm up. There’s free Craftwork coffee, and also hot dogs.
