Where to get tested for Corona at Christmas in Rhineland-Palatinate – SWR Aktuell

If you get symptoms under the Christmas tree, you can also get tested for Corona on the holidays. The Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians has published an overview of the test centers in Rhineland-Palatinate.

In more than 240 Corona contact points in Rhineland-Palatinate, patients will also be treated from December 24, 2020 to January 3, 2021, according to the KV. In Bad Kreuznach, Kaiserslautern, Landau, Pirmasens and Daun (Vulkaneifel district) doctors or ambulances offer tests every day. At the other test stations in the country there is the possibility of being tested for symptoms on selected days. Prerequisite: registration by telephone

The following applies everywhere: A telephone registration is required. The only exception is the Corona ambulance in Koblenz / CGM-Arena. According to KV, no registration is required there. The addresses and telephone numbers as well as possible further information are given for all outpatient departments listed by KV.

From January 4th, the more than 700 Corona contact points in Rhineland-Palatinate will resume normal operations.

Ministry of Health is also prepared

And the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Health has also prepared for the holidays. When asked by SWR, it says: “The ministry can react to current developments at any time. For example, the state government’s crisis team is also active over the holidays and between the years.” According to the ministry, the reported new infections should also be published daily on the holidays.
