Vaccination against COVID-19 began this week for children between the ages of 5 and 11 in Baja California. On the first day, about 15,000 children responded to the call, reported the Ministry of Health.
Last week the announcement was made by the federal government after vaccination for this group had been postponed for months. In comparison, in San Diego County the vaccine began to be applied to children within that age range from November 2021.

This Tuesday, authorities reported waiting times at vaccination points in Tijuana between 5 and 30 minutes.
