Although this week is Spring Break in some school districts in the region, food banks will not be taking a break to help North Texas families.
The North Texas Food Bank will have its pantry deliveries until Friday, March 19 between the hours of 9 a.m. at 12 pm The distribution is for people in vehicles and the boxes will be delivered while supplies last.

Catholic Charities in Dallas also has mobile pantries in Dallas.

There are also two fixed pantries this week they are on duty five days a week as reported by Catholic Charities. The food banks and their hours are:
Jan Pruitt Community Pantry, 123 Alexander Avenue, en Lancaster
- Tuesday to Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm, Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm
Marillac Pantry, 2843 Lapsley St., en Dallas
- Tuesday and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm
The Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center will be handing out food for families south of Dallas. During the handover, families will have the opportunity to receive plates of hot food twice a day.
According to a statement from the organizers, the dishes will be delivered at lunch and dinner. Boxes with food will also be distributed to each family.
The distribution days and their hours are:
Tuesday March 16
Lunch from 12 pm to 2 pm
Dinner from 5 pm to 7 pm
Friday March 19
3 to 6 p.m.
Sunday March 21
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Food trucks O’Brien’s, Ruthie’s, and the Greek Lover Food truck will donate food for this installment.
TAFB also distributes pantries Tuesday through Saturday by zip code at different locations and times throughout Tarrant County. The exact hours and locations of the TAFB mobile pantries can be found on your monthly distribution calendar or through your page Facebook.
Likewise, the food bank will have its large-scale distribution this Friday, March 19, from 10 am to 1 pm, according to a statement from the city of Fort Worth. This large-scale pantry will be repeated every Friday until May 21. The food bank announced that its volunteers will continue to wear face masks and ask that families who receive food wear masks as well.
Food products will be delivered to Herman Clark Stadium, located at 5201 CA Roberson Blvd., in Fort Worth.
