Solidarity proliferates at Christmas time. There is less left for the celebration of Christmas, dates that are increasingly extended in the calendar already beginning in many places in the month of November.
During these holidays, it is usual entertain ours with some other detail; But, unfortunately, not all households are fortunate that the little ones enjoy a new toy every Christmas. Thus, more and more entities are launching toy collection campaigns so that all the children of A Coruña have their gift this holiday season.
With a simple gesture such as donating that toy that we have abandoned in the storage room, we can make a little one smile.

The English Court
The El Corte Inglés centers of Ramón y Cajal and Marineda, in collaboration with Cáritas Interparroquial de A Coruña, have launched a toy collection campaign. From December 1 to 30, the toys department of El Corte Inglés de Ramón y Cajal and Hipercor Marineda will have a drop-off point where people can deposit the toys they want to donate. For each toy donated, El Corte Inglés will provide another of its own brand.
The most suitable gifts for Caritas they are:

Marineda City
Marineda City will perform, in collaboration with the Red Cross, a solidarity collection of toys, so that all children can enjoy the illusion of Christmas. The campaign will start on December 20. In addition, Marineda will double the amount of toys collected.

Alcampo has launched its traditional campaign “No child without a toy” which is celebrated until December 20 in the commercial center of A Coruña, in Palavea. There, new toys will be collected and delivered to local organizations so that, in turn, they can deliver them to families living in vulnerable situations.
Alcampo volunteers classify donated toys by age and they will wrap them so that the little ones in the house have a surprise at Christmas.

Caritas
One more Christmas, Caritas Interparroquial de A Coruña organizes a campaign to collect toys for children from families with limited resources. Those interested families will only have to sign up in the Caritas group of their parish before December 15th. On the other hand, those interested in donating can do so through the accounts that Caritas has enabled.
The House of Toys
One more year, the City Council of A Coruña, through the Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC), launches the Casa de los Juguetes campaign, an initiative designed to promote responsible consumption and give it a second life to objects in good condition. Until January 5 Those interested can deliver toys in good condition.
