How much money does the Treasury take from the Fourth Prize
The Treasury takes 20% of the prize as long as it exceeds 40,000 euroshence the Fourth Prize is exempt from withholdings and 100% of the amount goes to the person who has the tenth winner, since each one is awarded 20,000 euros.
Of the total amount of the Gordo, Second and Third Prize, the Tax Agency would keep a portion:
- Of Gordo: 72,000 euros go to the Treasury and 328,000 for the holder of the tenth graced.
- Of Second prize: 17,000 euros go to the Treasury and 108,000 for the holder of the tenth graced.
- Of Third award: 2,000 euros go to the Treasury and 48,000 for the holder of the tenth graced.
