The second round of municipal elections will take place on June 28 in Côte-d’Or and Saône-et-Loire, more than three months after the first round of March 15, in the context of the coronavirus health crisis. The voter turnout in the spring was 47.81% in Côte-d’Or and 45.61% for Saône-et-Loire. In Côte-d’Or, voters are called to vote in 143 out of 698 municipalities (or 20% of the municipalities) in the second round and in Saône-et-Loire in 57 out of 565 municipalities (or 10% of the municipalities).

In Côte-d’Or, has Dijon, François Rebsamen came in first (38.25%) against Emmanuel Bichot (19.9%). AT Beaune, Alain Suguenot was also in the lead (48.10%) in the first round. AT Venarey-les Laumes, Patrick Molinoz was re-elected (75.71%). This is also the case for Hubert Brigand at Châtillon-sur-Seine. AT Saint-Apollinaire, Jean-François Dodet is elected. A new mayor also in Genlis : Martial Mathiron (53.24%). AT Talant, Adrien Guené won in the first round (60.80%) but, surprise, it was Fabian Ruinet, who became mayor on May 23.

In Saône-et-Loire, at Châlon-sur-Saône, Gilles Platret was re-elected with 52.93% of the votes in the first round as was Jean-Patrick Courtois (60.79%) at Builder. AT Cluny, Marie Fauvet came first (36.83%) like Marie-Claude Jarrot (40.03%) at Montceau-les-Mines. AT Louhans, Frédéric Bouchet was elected (51.1%), this is also the case for David Marti at Creusot with 59.71% of the votes cast. Frédéric Brochot was placed at the head (45.2%) at Autun. AT Gueugnon, Dominique Lotte was elected 69.82%, ditto for Jean-Marc Nesme (72.87%) in Paray-le-Monial.

Find the results of the first round

As a reminder, in municipalities with more than 1000 inhabitants, the election is played in the first round when a list obtains more than 50% of the votes cast. In municipalities with less than 1000 inhabitants, the number of voters must also be at least equal to a quarter of the registered voters.
