PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto explained his party’s coalition leadership in the 2024 presidential election. He said there were three criteria for coalition leadership.
“First, the direction of the coalition is to strengthen the love of the homeland,” Hasto said after the Youth Pledge Day celebration at PDIP Party School, South Jakarta on Friday (10/28/2022).

Hasto said it was too early to talk about coalitions right now, especially in the midst of the economic problems that are still happening as a result of the pandemic. He thought it would only ruin his concentration.
“We encourage positive speeches about the conception of leadership that is offered, not by various maneuvers, there are volunteers, there are individuals so it seems that the election with this speech too soon reduces our focus on solving economic problems and building our leadership. in the nation-state. in other nations. So what’s important is how we now address the nation’s major problems, all working together, all working together, “he said.
Hasto stressed that it was time for the PDIP to determine the direction of the 2024 presidential election. He was waiting for the right momentum.
“Later will come the momentum to contest after October-November, the deadline for registering presidential and vice presidential candidates. Let’s wait for that momentum and give our positive energy to the nation and the state,” he said.
