A man was arrested several days after the discovery of a body of a young girl in a street in Pontault-Combault, in Seine-et-Marne.
Early Monday morning, the half-naked lifeless body of a young girl was found in a street in Pontault-Combault, in Seine-et-Marne. The victim was 18 years old and lived in Dunkirk, in the North, with his mother, written “Le Parisien”.

After several days of investigation, a man was arrested in this case in Asnières-sur-Seine, in Hauts-de-Seine, reports AFP. The individual, also 18 years old, was arrested Friday at 12:30 p.m. at his family home where searches are to be carried out. He was taken into custody. According to the first elements of the investigation, carried out by the Créteil prosecutor’s office, the crime would not have taken place in Pontault-Combault but in the neighboring department of Val-de-Marne.
The girl’s autopsy revealed that she died of strangulation on the night from Sunday to Monday. According to “Le Parisien”, she suffered blows in the face and burns in the back carried out after her death.
