A 70-year-old Viennese woman died, her husband is still in the intensive care unit.
The police still have a few clues and no hot leads in the hunt for the handlebars of that 3 or 4-series BMW convertible that mowed down two pedestrians on Friday afternoon. As reported, a victim died at the scene of the accident, the husband (62) was seriously injured.
According to AUSTRIA information, he was admitted to the AKH as an inpatient and receives intensive medical care there. The couple’s family, relatives and friends are in shock about the death of the 70-year-old and are very concerned about their husband.
The death driver, who was probably far too fast and turned rapidly left into Sebaldgasse from Panethgasse, but did not yet have the decency to turn himself in to the police.
