Deputy Chairman of Commission D DPRD DKI Jakarta from the Fraction NasDem Nova Harivan Paloh railed against the Head of the DKI Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Service, Yusmada Faizal about construction Ciliwung River channel towards the East Flood Canal (KBT).
Nova is looking for who is responsible for the construction of the project because it is said to have been stalled for six years.
“Mr. Yusmada, I’m just asking for a little information about the Ciliwung Sodetan. It’s been heralded that it’s stalled at SDA. Well, that’s a sewer how, the responsibility of the center or us (regional)? Where is it going?” Nova asked in a meeting at Commission D, Wednesday (1/2).
Yusmada also replied that land acquisition and the construction of the sodetan were under the authority of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).
“That means not us, huh?” asked Nova again.
Yusmada said the DKI Pemprov only played a role in the pre-planning process up to determining the location (penlok) of land acquisition.
“There is a land acquisition process called pre-planning, the end of it is penlok. That’s where our role is… So, the penlok is the governor forming a preparatory committee for land acquisition, the end is penlok. The penlok is what the governor signs,” said Yusmada.
Previously, President Jokowi praised the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, who was considered capable of freeing land for the construction of a water channel from the Ciliwung River to the East Flood Canal (KBT).
Jokowi was surprised that Heru was able to carry out land acquisition, even though according to him the project had been hampered for six years.
“The liberation (obstacles), I conveyed earlier. I was also surprised, it was done by Governor Heru, I don’t know what the approach is, but it’s finished. That’s why I came here earlier because it was finished,” Jokowi said after inspecting the sewers, Tuesday (24/1 ).
If you look at the time, for the six years that were called stalled, it was during Anies Baswedan’s leadership period as Governor of DKI Jakarta.
