Where has “our” Panamarenko gone? At least 134 works of art from the Flemish community are missing

Janpiet Callens, retired Chief Inspector of Art and Antiques of the then Art Crime Department of the federal police, considers it unlikely that the missing works of art will still be found. “At the time (2016, ed.), the then Minister of the Interior Jan Jambon abolished the Kunstcel, so such reports disappear in the heap of files from the police. If an inspector is interested in it, you’re in luck, otherwise the report ends up at the bottom of the pile. My experience shows that there are no priorities for such a thing.”
