Frankfurt am Main. From Thursday, August 8th, to Sunday, August 11th, Frankfurt am Main celebrates Christopher Street Day. Highlight: The demonstration and rally on the Römerberg on Saturday.

Many well-known companies support Christopher Street Day, including Commerzbank, ADAC, Telekom, Deutsche Bahn, Continental and Nintendo. The University Medical Center Frankfurt, Macromedia University and the Eintracht Frankfurt football club are also involved.

The demonstration march stops 9 clock between the Untermain Bridge and the Old Bridge After a rally on the Römerberg one 11 clock it goes off 12.30 pm: The troop moves along Neue Mainzer Straße, Weißfrauenstraße, Bethmannstraße and Braubachstraße to Römerberg.

The route continues along Domstrasse, Hasengasse, Bleidenstrasse, Kornmarkt, Weißadlerstrasse, Am Salzhaus, Roßmarkt, Junghofstrasse and Hochstrasse.

A chill-out spot has been set up at the Hilton Hotel, Hochstrasse 4. Here you can take a short rest during the demonstration. The colorful demonstration then continues via Eschenheimer Tor, Bleichstrasse and Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse to its destination: the Konstablerwache.

CSD in Frankfurt 2024: Traffic disruptions – which streets should you avoid?

There is currently no information about road closures or diversions. However, it can be assumed that, as was the case last year, there will be traffic disruptions in the city center. The city center west of Kurt-Schumacher-Straße should probably be avoided.
