Where are the new scouting operations taking place in the Channel this week?

From Thursday to last Saturday in Saint-Lô, Granville and Avranches, anyone who wanted to be tested could come, without an appointment and without a prescription, at the screening sites set up by ARS Normandy and the Prefecture of Manche in coordination with local elected officials and regional health actors. A first assessment was communicated this Monday evening:

– In Avranches out of 332 people tested, 20 were positive

-A Saint-Lô: out of 484 people tested, 5 positive

-A Granville: out of 494 people tested, 13 positive.

Last week, several schools also carried out tests for school staff and students

In Tourlaville schools and colleges: 149 tests, 0 positive

– At the college of Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët: 15 tests, 0 positive

– At Charcot – La Bucaille college: 139 tests, 2 positive

– At Prévert College in Coutances: 48 tests, 0 positive

– At Le Verrier high school in Saint-Lô: 279 tests, 0 positive

– At the college and high school of Mortain: 43 tests, 0 positive

– At the Lycée Littré in Avranches: 191 tests, 0 positive.

In total last week, 2,174 tests were performed including 40 positive. These are therefore 40 people for whom the isolation was carried out and the contract tracing implemented to isolate their contacts at risk in order to break the chains of transmission of the virus. In Saint-Lô Friday February 5: Salle Salvador Allende, 4 rue Saint-Thomas – from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In Avranches Thursday February 4: Victor Hugo room, place Carnot – from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In Granville Saturday February 6: Hérel room, boulevard des amiraux – from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët Wednesday February 3: village hall, rue Waldeck Rousseau – from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In addition, screenings are also organized this week in nursery schools, primary schools, the college of Bréhal. As with any positive test, a variant search will be performed.
