The concert schedule in Mexico begins to grow thanks to the different festivals and shows of bands with RBD. And to this, a tribute to one of the most important animation studios in the world is added: Studios Ghibli.

Specifically, the tribute is for Joe HisaishiJapanese composer and conductor who has been in charge of making more than 100 soundtracks, including those for productions by Hayao Miyazaki, one of the founders of Studio Ghibli.

Studios Ghibli Symphony Concert: These are the details

The Fine Arts Chamber Orchestra y Cinema Concert Club will perform a series of orchestral presentations where they will play various melodies from Hayao Miyazaki’s films, composed by Joe Hisaishi, where there will be more than 40 musicians on stage.

This event will take place sooner than you think, because This weekend the symphonies will beginwhich in the coming months will be extended to some states of the Mexican Republic, such as Jalisco, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro and Guanajuato.

When and where will the Studios Ghibli concerts be in CDMX?

The series of symphonic shows that will pay tribute to Studios Ghibli will take place on February 3, 4 and 5 at the Ángela Peralta Theater in CDMX at the following times:

  • Friday 3 and Saturday 4 February: 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 5: 5:00 p.m.
