The Salzburg production “The Game” shows the refugee misery on the Bosnian EU external border.
It started with an aid transport. And culminated in a 90-minute documentary. First, the Bavarian filmmaker Manuela Federl wanted to document that the donations from her association Lautlos e. V. arrive. But then she saw the extent of the humanitarian disaster. “Europe tramples on its values in front of its own door,” says Federl in an interview.
She decided to make a documentary to bring this drama to the attention of the general public.
The misery is not far from Austria …
