Head coach “Betisa” Manuel Pellegrini summed up the match La Liga with Real Madrid (2: 3).
“When you play against Real Madrid and VAR is too much. In the first half we were much better than Real Madrid. We scored two goals and had three clear chances. The second half turned out to be more equal, then there was a red card, a penalty. It was hard to play with ten men.
When you play against Real Madrid, you miss from the penalty spot and get sent off because of the VAR – it’s very difficult. But I appreciate how well we played in equal squads.
On the positive side, I am more confident than ever that we are on the right track. In equal squads, we were much better than Real, – said the coach.
Recall the arbiter Ricardo Bengoechea deleted Emerson Aparecido after VAR, and for handball Mark Bartra appointed penaltyimplemented by Sergio Ramos.
