Manchester –
Since joining Manchester United, Donny van de Beek has never started in the Premier League. When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will give him a chance?
Van de Beek was recruited by MU from Ajax in the transfer market last summer. The Red Devils spent up to 40 million pounds to bring in the 23-year-old midfielder.
So far, Van de Beek has always been played in the four matches that MU has played in the Premier League. However, not even once he appeared since the first minute.
Van de Beek always came on as a substitute. Solskjaer often played Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, or Fred as starters.
Solskjaer did not deny that there was competition for the starting position. He reminded Donny van de Beek in order to fight for its position.
“Donny is quite fit, but of course this is a competition for position,” Solskjaer said as reported Mirror.
“It gave him time to adapt and adjust to his team mates, this is a new league, he is clearly a footballer and a top person, humble, hardworking, but really wants to play more often.”
“You will see it throughout the season, it will be a long season and you will see it play a lot more,” said Solskjaer.
It’s worth looking forward to whether Solskjaer will take on Donny van de Beek as a starter when MU faces Chelsea in the Premier League at Old Trafford, Saturday (24/10/2020). Action MU vs Chelsea will be broadcast live on Mola TV and can be watched via a streaming link this.
