When will the metro to Troeschina be launched?

In Kiev, by 2024, it is possible to launch the first metro section in the Troeshina microdistrict. As of today, three metro stations have already been built.

This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Finance Alexander Kava on the air of the TV channel. “House”. Previously, the main obstacle to the construction of the metro to Troeshchina was the absence of a bridge, the Podolsko-Voskresensky bridge.

“Now the construction of the main part of the bridge is almost finished. Now the city authorities have the opportunity to start building the left-bank and right-bank approaches to this bridge,” said Kava.

He noted that the construction of the bridge has already been built three metro stations:

  • “Shipbuilding” on the Rybalsky Peninsula;

  • station “Trukhanov Island” on the island of the same name;

  • Desenka Bay station.

The first launch site assumes one more station on the left bank – the Raduzhnaya station. And two more stations on the right bank:

  • station “Podolskaya” with a transfer to the currently operating station named after Taras Shevchenko;

  • station “Glubochitskaya” or according to the second option “Tatarskaya” with a transfer to the metro station “Lukyanovskaya”.

According to Kava, he, as Deputy Minister of Finance, is ready to help the Kiev authorities to attract financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank.

“If the city authorities work, the Ministry of Finance will help them in this. I think that by 2024 there is every chance to launch the first launch site … Now it is not a fantasy if the city authorities really make efforts,” the deputy minister summed up.
