PT Astra Honda Motor or AHM has finally opened up the possibility of launching the Honda U-GO in Indonesia. So, is it true that the tiny electric scooter is present in the country this year, or will it take a long time to come?
Recently, PT AHM claimed to announce the Indonesia electric motorcycle business strategy and roadmap before the end of the year. The main is reportedly set to introduce 10 electric motors until 2025, and a number of models will enter the country.

When asked about the possibility of launching the Honda U-GO in Indonesia, Thomas once again asked the public to keep waiting. Now, his party is still studying the various possibilities that exist on the basis of one consideration, namely the interest of the consumer.

The Honda U-GO itself uses an electric motor with a power of 1.2 kW capable of producing a top speed of 53 kilometers per hour. While the battery has two slots with a total distance of 133 kilometers.
The electric scooter is equipped with a telescopic suspension at the front and an adjustable double suspension model at the rear. The brakes use a single disc mounted on the front wheel.
The Honda U-GO is sold quite cheaply in China, at 7,499 yuan or 16.6 million rupees for the standard type and 7,999 yuan or 17.7 million rupees for the higher variant.
