Not every football fan in Germany has the opportunity to watch Bundesliga games live on TV. The highlights of the matches are offered on various platforms – you can find out exactly when here.

The best-known format for the highlights of the current Bundesliga match day is the ARD Sportschau. Due to the different rights holders, the summaries can also be seen on other platforms. This article gives an overview of when the highlights are presented on which platform.
Friday
The Friday Bundesliga games will be broadcast by DAZN broadcast live. On free TV, Sat. 1 also the opening match and two matches of the 15th and 16th matchdays. While Sky the summary of the first match of the match day is broadcast immediately afterward from 10.30 p.m., the ARD Highlights from Friday’s game will be shown in the Sportschau on Saturday from 6.30 p.m. at the earliest. ZDF shows the summary only on Saturday evening in the sports studio (usually from 11 p.m., in the stream in the ZDFmedia library already from 10.30 p.m.).
Saturday
On Bundesliga Saturday, the pay-TV channel Sky in the broadcast and shows all individual Bundesliga matches as well as the conference at 3.30 p.m. A first summary of the matches is available afterwards in “All matches, all goals”. The top match at 6.30 p.m. is also broadcast exclusively on Sky.
The summaries of the 3:30 p.m. games can be seen in the evening on free TV from 6:30 p.m. in the Sportschau, ZDF also shows highlights in the Sportstudio in the evening. The best scenes of the game from 6:30 p.m. will also be shown there. ARD may only broadcast highlights on the following Sunday from 6.30 p.m.

Also at DAZN Highlight clips from Saturday’s Bundesliga matches can be seen. From 9 p.m., the Bundesliga highlight show will present summaries of the matches for 45 minutes.
The private broadcaster Sport1 On Sunday morning, the program “Bundesliga Pur” also shows highlights from the previous Saturday and Friday.
Sunday
Bundesliga Sunday will again be DAZN Two hours after kick-off, the summary will be broadcast on pay-TV channels Sky The highlights of the Sunday games were also secured by the ARD in the form of the rights package L. The public broadcaster will broadcast these in its third channels from 9.45 p.m. on free TV, in the stream via the ARDMediathek and sportschau.de The highlights in the “Sportschau Fußball-Bundesliga” will be broadcast live and exclusively from 9.15 p.m.
The Bundesliga highlights on YouTube & other digital platforms
ARD, ZDF and Sport1 Every Monday (from midnight) after the match day, they present free highlight clips of the Bundesliga matches on their YouTube channels, as well as their other digital offerings, such as their websites or apps.
In addition, all summaries of the Bundesliga games can also be seen on Axel Springer’s platforms – even directly after the final whistle. However, fans need a paid subscription to do this.
