When will One UI 7 be released and for which Samsung? – Samsung Magazine

As we know, Samsung has been working diligently on the One UI 7.0 superstructure, based on Androidu 15, for some time now. If you are wondering when it should be released and for which Galaxy devices, you will find out here (so unofficially).

The first beta of One UI 7.0 was supposed to be released in late July according to more recent leaks, but that didn’t happen. Apparently because Samsung still wants to focus on releasing One UI 6.1.1 and the internal beta of One UI 7.0 was supposed to be full of bugs. According to the latest unofficial reports, the first beta of the upcoming One UI version will arrive in late August, in the third week of August. It should be available in the US, South Korea, Germany, Poland, Great Britain, China, and India.

As for the sharp version of One UI 7.0, it could be released in October, considering last year’s One UI 6.0 release. There are also some leaks hinting at early November. Just for fun, here’s how sharp versions of One UI have been released in previous years:

  • One UI 1.0 (Android 9): February 2019
  • One UI 2.0 (Android 10): December 2019
  • One UI 3.0 (Android 11): December 2020
  • One UI 4.0 (Android 12): November 2021
  • One UI 5.0 (Android 13): October 2022
  • One UI 6.0 (Android 14): October 2023

The next version of One UI is expected to bring, among other things, changes to the user interface, such as splitting the quick panel into quick settings and the notification bar. (This change should be optional), redesigned app icons to be fuller and more rounded, new home and lock screen widgets, a redesigned camera app or support for large folders on the home screen.
