When will Chapter 3 of Fortnite be released?

Fortnite officially announced the “beginning of the end” earlier this week, an event that will conclude Chapter Two of the game.

In an official post on the website of Fortnite, the game’s developers said that the end of the chapter will be on December 4th at 18:00. This event will be the conclusion of Season Eight, Chapter Two.

After the end of Chapter One, the game had several days of inactivity before Chapter Two was released, following the “black hole” event and the climate transition between Chapters. The same could be expected for the beginning of Chapter Three.

Earlier this month, the leaker of Fortnite HYPEX said the expected release of Chapter Three would be December 7th. The exact start time of Chapter Three of Fortnite it was not officially announced, however.

Although Epic Games hasn’t officially announced a precise start date for Chapter Three, this wouldn’t be the first time the game has suffered a break between seasons. The transition between Chapter One and Chapter Two was highlighted by an event of “Black Hole” which involved servers that had been idle for days. At the time, whenever players logged into the game, all they could see was what appeared to be a black hole, which left many players confused by concocting conspiracy theories about the game’s status.

If Epic treats this transition from Chapter Two the same way it did after Chapter One, then in Chapter Three, season one will likely start sometime between December 6th and 8th.
