Zapping World Fifteen “I’ve come a long way,” Mathieu Bastareaud enjoys after his comeback
Rugby Club Toulonnais has attracted one of the best frontrunners on the world circuit in the person of Dan Biggar. The 33-year-old Welshman with 97 caps arrives at La Rade with a status to maintain and will come to compete with Ihaia West, the only regular in the Var ranks. Hired for a season and a half, Biggar has not yet joined the RCT Campus because he wanted to stay with his team for the Autumn Tour despite a knee injury.
Now back on his feet, the number 10 has resumed the race with his selection and should start collective training with his new club this Monday. But now a question arises, when will he be able to play RCT?
If his acclimatization has to be done quickly enough due to lack of players in this position, he should probably not be available for the reception of Racing 92. He must, before applying for a place in the group, get back in contact, assimilate the game plan and regain a physical condition that you will acquire during your training sessions.
His first match for the Rossoneri should therefore come in the Champions Cup against Zebre di Parma on 10 December.
