JAKARTA – iPhone fans are looking forward to the latest iPhone generation which will be released this year. Usually, Apple rolls out new devices in September, but the Covid-19 pandemic might make a bit of a change.
In fact, Apple sent out invitations to a virtual event taking place on September 15th. The public may have hoped that the company would release a new iPhone on that date, but it seems that this is not really the case.
On September 15, the company reportedly unveiled its newest Apple Watch and iPad devices.
When will Apple launch the iPhone 12? Quoted Cnet, Apple is expected to announce their latest phone on October 13 or 14. This alleged date is the most likely, considering that Apple has reportedly delayed the launch of the iPhone for several weeks from their tradition of September event.

As is known, the Covid-19 pandemic encourages suppliers in China to close or operate in a limited capacity. This has an effect not only on Apple’s inventory in September, but will also affect sales.
Apple has also closed US retail stores, though now some have reopened in limited ways.
