When will Apex Legends have a patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S? Respawn talks about it again

I’m not sure, but I would say that most players enjoy Apex Legends on PC. But there are also many who play it on consoles (and I, for example, who play it on PlayStation). The fact is that it has been about a year since the PS5 and Xbox Series were released, and the battle royale yet you have not received any type of patch next-gen to have visual improvements on these next-generation consoles.

As you can see in the link that I just placed around here, yes there is a confirmed patch for Apex Legends, but hardly anything is known about this beyond the details that I put in the post. Of course, I must remember that the game already has an upgrade for these consoles together with backward compatibility, which translate into a resolution of 2K.

Apex Legends for PS5 and Xbox Series, by when?

In a recent “questions and answers” that Respawn carried out in Reddit (and where very interesting details such as the approximate date of the arrival of the cross progression), Ryan Rigney said the following:

“Oh man, I WISH I could give some kind of update on the subject but we can’t say anything definitive yet so I can’t reveal anything here. Believe us, we’re on it and really looking forward to work.”

Ryan Rigney, director of communities of Respawn

I remember that one of the goals was to reach 120 FPS in addition to a 4K resolution to Apex Legends on PS5 and Xbox Series, however, it is only known that these improvements were planned for 2021, but nothing beyond that. And I daresay they wouldn’t even make it this year. What do you think?
