Since the appearance of Covid-19, news channels have never asked doctors or specialists so much to comment on the health crisis that has shaken the world for more than a year. Whether it is the characteristics of the virus, the supposed treatments or the various vaccines now on the market, it must be recognized that the subjects are numerous and are of great interest to viewers. But these numerous speeches are not to everyone’s taste. This is particularly the case of François Berléand who pushed a rant on RTL in the program “On remake the TV”.
At the microphone of the radio, the famous actor was annoyed by the many debates bringing contradictory information from one day to another. “There’s a word I learned in January, it’s ultracrepidarianism. It is the ability of people to speak without knowing. We are in this particularly with the continuous news channels (…) and what is extraordinary is that, since the appearance of the Covid, we realize that the doctors who are around a table and who start to discuss this disease can say one day white, the other day green and the day after orange“, he noted.
And the famous 69-year-old comedian to continue his rant. “Medicine is not an exact science, of course, but when you don’t know, you don’t speak! Couldn’t we stop a little bit from throwing unfounded information to the whole of France?“he asked.
