Of the five Star Wars movies Lucasfilm has made since its sale to Walt Disney was Solo: A Star Wars Story a big setback. The film did not pay off at the worldwide cinema ticket offices and there was also a lot of criticism of the end result.
There have been rumors for a long time that a Star Wars series would be in development for Disney +. During Lights, Camera, Barstool Solo-Director Ron Howard asked again if there are any plans. His response:
“‘There’s nothing going on and this isn’t a spoiler or anything, but I think there is interest in those characters. I think there will be interest in the gangster world someday. But I can assure you that nothing will be going on right now developed for a movie or Disney +. But the great thing is that a lot of positive emotion has been expressed for Solo. That of course bodes well for those who can ultimately do something with it. “
Surely something on Disney +?
So who knows, we might see the world from Alden Ehrenreichs Han Solo sometimes returns, with or without this character. There are probably plenty of options for this to happen on Disney +, or who knows, in a movie.
