When the Rp. 37 Billion Fire Robot Takes Action in the Fire at the AGO

Jakarta

Provincial Government of DKI through the Fire and Rescue Service (PKP) has 2 firefighting robots that cost tens of billions. However, unfortunately this damkar robot was not used when a fire hit the Attorney General’s Office Building, South Jakarta, which is a cultural heritage.

It is known that the damkar robot worth Rp. 37 billion has been simulated. The robot was purchased from Croatia.

The two robots are MVF-U3 and LUF 60 Dok-ing robots. MVF-U3 doc-ing robot has 9 video cameras and 1 temperature camera. In addition, this robot also has a clamp device on the front that can rotate.

These claws are used to clean post-disaster roads, clean up debris from cars or trucks damaged by accidents, remove hazardous substances caused by explosions, to lift destroyed infrastructure or debris.

This robot can also be used to overcome oil refinery fires, or gas stations. In addition, this fire fighting robot is also used to extinguish a fire when a fire occurs at a PLN power plant, factory, or chemical warehouse.

The MVF-U3 Dok-ing Robot is remote-operated with a visibility of 1,500 meters. This robot uses a battery that can be fully used for 10 hours.

The Rp. 37 billion robot also has a tank that can hold 2,500 liters of water and 500 liters of foam. This robotic water turret can rotate 360 degrees with a German ziegler monitor (55 meters water and 45 meters foam / water). Meanwhile, the LUF 60 robot is used to extinguish fires in locations that are difficult to access by fire trucks.

Meanwhile, the LUF 60 robot has the ability to go up and down stairs. The LUF 60 robot engine has a power of 140 HP. The robot can spray water in the form of water cannons, water fog, and foam.

In addition, the LUF 60 robot is also capable of decomposing smoke as far as 99 meters. This is because this unit has a ventilator fan with a speed of 165 kilometers per hour.

The LUF 60 robot is moved by remote control with a maximum distance of 300 meters. This fire fighting robot is also capable of shifting objects from the fire with a maximum weight of 600 kilograms.

However, it is unfortunate that these two sophisticated robots with good specifications were not used when defusing the fire in the main AGO building. Damkar chose to use the Bronto Skylift fire engine.
