The first training session for Al Dhafra (Western Faris) will be held on Tuesday 1 November under the guidance of Aleksandar Veselnovich.
The 52-year-old returns to coach Western Fares, who had spent the period between September 2020 and January 2021 at the head of the team’s technical direction.
The Serbian coach will replace compatriot Nebosha Vjnevic.
The Emirati newspaper, “Emirates Today”, learned that the Al Dhafra administration had made the decision a week ago to sack Vignevich, but Veselnovic’s arrival coincided with the eighth round of the ADNOC Professional League, which saw a 5-0 defeat against Baniyas (Swords of the Capital).
Veselnovic will launch his mission with the team in the ninth round, during which Western Faris will clash with Sharjah (the King).
