There is an insistence that PSSI general president Mochamad Iriawan or Iwan Bule he resigned from his position as a form of responsibility for the Kanjuruhan tragedy. He also defended the PSSI.
“The accountability form does not have to resign from the president general, (but) by demonstrating to change the PSSI for the better,” said the referee committee of the PSSI Ahmad Riyadh at the coordination ministry for political, legal and security affairs, Central Jakarta (Jakpus), Tuesday (11/10/2022).
According to Ahmad, the public has the right to criticize. However, he stated that the PSSI Congress has the right to determine the management of the PSSI.

“Congress will decide whether or not management ends,” he said.
Iwan Bule smiles in response to pressure
Earlier, Iwan Bule had also responded about this push to resign. Iwan Bule admitted he didn’t want to worry about the pressure.
“Ooo … what’s his name, you insist, so everyone can say anything,” said Iwan Bule then smiled when asked at Malang Police Headquarters, as reported by detik JatimMonday (3/10).
According to Iwan, all parties can say anything. However, it is clear that he is currently focusing on dealing with the victims of the Kanjuruhan tragedy.
Of note, Iwan Bule was invited to step down from his position. The call was marked by a petition signed by thousands of people.
This request is in the aftermath of the Kanjuruhan tragedy that occurred on Saturday (1/10). The tragedy killed 131 people.
