eThere are hardly any mathematically and politically comprehensible scenarios in which the next government formation could do without the green factor. In whatever constellation the Greens will also rule in the future, they remain dependent on government partners, on parliamentary majorities and on compromises in the Federal Council.
But what happens if the Fridays for Future movement, inspired by Greta Thunberg’s evocation of a general “panic”, sees itself abandoned by its supposedly last ally in the current party system? Then the idea could mature for a “really” green party.
