The rantings of some who pull the cover more than others by their outrageousness unfortunately tend to reduce to heartache the influence of more measured people who have rational arguments to share, and that is a big problem.
In the maelstrom of a cacophony where the delusional paranoia of some discredits all the others who cling to the wagons of a citizen enthusiasm to assert a well-argued point of view, the result may seem unfair, but it is what it is. is, it’s everyone who passes for a bunch of enlightened.
From my point of view, and it seems to be commonly shared, I tend to be happy that in French Polynesia we are at the stage where mass vaccination for all age groups is possible. When we see what the situation is in France, we are entitled, here, to consider ourselves privileged. When the media relay images of vaccination centers that are clearly successful in terms of attendance, it has become common for these vaccine candidates to be insulted by opinion leaders and in particular to treat sheep.
For me it is here more than elsewhere that the shoe pinches. Some rebels are therefore absolutely convinced that the majority of the population has mortgaged their free will, shelved their capacity for judgment, to place themselves at the rank of cattle, where to receive an inoculation as one would take the final blow in a slaughterhouse. All the public authorities, all the pharmaceutical laboratories, all the media, in the world, would thus be complicit in the largest and most pernicious and sadistic organized genocide of modern times. It’s so sad to have let yourself be trapped in this toxic and irrational bubble of distrust.
If the needle that penetrates the skin is so likely to shake brains, then we can bet that the latest scientific advances in the field are catalyzing a rapid and widespread return of sanity. I’m talking about the promises surrounding the oral vaccine Oravax. A simple tablet to swallow the fruit of the collaboration and the mixture of technologies and findings of two companies whose first tests are showing great promise both in terms of effectiveness against Covid19, its various variants too, while reducing the risk of side effects after taking compared to that of AstraZeneca for example. The potential for large-scale production and distribution would be far more efficient than what we currently know.
